I’m Kate, a registered dietitian with a goal of empowering others to ditch the diets, eat real food, and find your confidence!.
I work with people just like you to find balanced and simple relationships with food, whether that’s by improving your ability to cook for yourself or by helping you listen to your body to make more mindful choices about food. I want you to find joy in eating and confidence in your ability to make food choices that fit your lifestyle or dietary needs!
Many days I’m just like you…thinking about what to make for dinner or wondering what that mystery ingredient was before it got shoved to the back of the fridge.
I’m what you would call a non-diet dietitian. I don’t believe in fad diets and quick fixes. I do believe in whole, really good food. I don’t know about you, but I have a million things bouncing around in this brain of mine and I don’t have the space to count calories or stress over food choices!

One day you’ll see me eating salads and the next you’ll see me with a burger and a beer. Balance, right? I’m a summer girl and I’m truly happiest by the pool or beach with a good book. I believe in the power of sunny days, good friends, long walks, a great night's sleep, and a little chocolate every day. I'm a Wisconsin transplant and proud to call myself a 'Sconnie!
