I’m Kate, a food freedom registered dietitian with a goal of empowering you to stop dieting forever, find your confidence and love your body all while still eating your favorite foods!
I work with people just like you to find balanced and simple relationships with food. I want you to feel confident in your ability to eat all foods, free from restriction or guilt. I don’t believe in fad diets, quick fixes, counting calories or restriction.
While I’m not anti-weight loss, you won’t see a focus on weight loss
as part of nutrition coaching with me. I’ve found that when weight loss is the main focus it takes away from the process of really digging deep and learning to listen to your body. We work on building healthy habits and let weight loss take the back burner for a while.
Your body is really smart and when you’re eating and moving well, your body naturally finds its comfortable weight. Long-term, sustainable
habits are the name of the game and I would never ask you to eat or
move in a way that was stressful on your body in order to reach a certain weight. Because of this, we won’t be setting weight loss goals or
even really talk about weight together.
Life is way too short to not feel your absolute best right now, in this beautiful body of yours.
